this could move fast to 1755 (where i'll close my short) and then wait for a retrace and hit it again short.

FPA technical analysis: Gold keeps short-term bearish context by far, but as price stands above major support of $1740 - chances on upward reversal later, maybe next week, remains.

well hmmm, dollar has broken short term support but cummulative delta is short so staying with it.

well this chart was golden just didn't trade the last leg. cést la vie

even though the dx will rise imo gold has hit its target will rise with the dx.

my last chart is now in play imo. time to chill.

I would just reverse the fibs and point them down. see chart. 1721 ish

I am concerned though that we have to wait for powoll and gold could drift higher into 1760 or higher. i'm working off the 15m chart and it is getting stale.

dollar index is indicating a completion on a 3 drives move.

with that in mind i'm now thinking this is a much better location. to reverse and go long.

its possible that the market has had its three taps and will rise now. certainly reads like short covering. there is price rejection of the this vp node (first chart). gold has some longer term work to do.

I think for today there is a good chance that gold will drop to Mr camera (second chart) or better Mr Plane trendlines. Im still short and feeling the pain. whatever happens i will be out before days end.

closing chat for the week from me. i closed my position here, i do believe the dollar is going to rise but i'm not willing to wait around.

i see we are now in a channel so trade accordingly, i'll be looking for the break probably next week.

longer term charts thoughts for both gold and silver - its down digg'n down.

oval's mark the drop to zone. should happen before Christmas. all imho.
