when i look on the bigger picture since the double bottom on 1678
i start to count wave, although the fib no suit exactly like i wane with the expension and the retracement.
this is a clearly middle of 3th wave or end of 4th
with fomc.. 1800+ look sweet

Gold started to tank on bond yields rallying. It's an inverse relationship and gold (markets in general) are sensitive to moves in US bonds/yields. Here's a look at the CME GC futures contract. Heavy volume:

US equities sold off at the open and haven't stopped. Selling started at the open about 30 mins after gold prices started dropping. Very heavy volume:

nice move from silver and gold today. looking like pendants forming. i'm seeing dollar shorts building across the board today. me thinks non-farm tomorrow will be bad for mr dollar.

Hi folks, as expected Gold smashed 1800, nearly reaching 1850.

Jobs report today hit the dollar badly. As the labour market recovery is decelerating, we can expect inflation to rise slower than expected (in-line with the Fed). This also means that there's little chance of monetary tapering anytime soon, which means the supply of dollars will continue to grow - reducing its price.

Gold has been boosted, thus, by two factors: a weaker dollar, and deflation expectations. Inflation looks like less of a case given the latest data. However, I think dollar weakness is more of a drive behind its rise.

On that note, daily bullish volume on gold is high - which could extend price toward an 1875s range by the end of May.

longs were built on Friday, I was hoping to get back in during the asian session. more long building going on today(not as much though). I don't like getting long just before Tuesday's dollar fix. but maybe tomorrow will not be the normal pm smash. we'll see.

I think XAG/USD should recover its losses and at least regain at least the 27.500 handle. In fact, I am confident XAG/USD will end the day with a green candle, so I am banking on a huge reversal during the US session.

I think that as it has already reached the level of 100 of the monthly pivot point and is already on wave five, it should not go up much more this month and it will consolidate.
