Well I'm afraid my view is that the bulls will appear later and 1790 is back on the cards. At the moment we're most definitely going sideways due to the boys waiting on FOMC

Yes - seems to be a strong buying sentiment in the range. I'm thinking FOMC might/to push gold north of 1800.

On the daily, it is possible for gold to fall towards 1770 or lower to 1752, retracement for a push up. If it pushes up from here, likely we'll be seeing a much bigger drop later on.
A 1 pip gain is better than a 1 pip loss.

The way i see the Daily is we have a bounce off the 1770 confirming a long pullback. If price can close above 1784 is see that as a strong signal we're pushing to retest 1797.

If price takes a u-turn and closes below 1770, with strength, i'll be wrong and looking short for 1759. If we stay short there's open water to 1722.

as noted the long move from late march till the 22nd/ish does have a fib level sitting at 1752 that could be a speed bump. Them some big moves but.

I do think the probability favors a grind north. We shall see.

Well I can see where you're coming from but I don't really like to take sides on which way price wants to go. More of open to anything goes. The way I see it, we either break 1797 or 1770 as per your charts.
A 1 pip gain is better than a 1 pip loss.

Only thing I can say about Gold price action this NY session is chaotic!

The big boys are obviously waiting on the news but in the meantime it's stop hunting paradise

Gold has been moving from quarter levels to quarter levels for quite a while now. I can see where it can take of from the 1775 price point potentially running to the 1850's. We have been accumulating in that point of balance for quite some time now and based on higher time frame structure, I don't see where price will retrace any lower than the 1750's.
