Hello Everyone,

I am back to Forex Factory & I was wondering which kind of approach to the market is most useful these days. Does anyone have any observations related to it ?

From my experience Technical Analysis will work better on times of market relative stability, Graph Analysis for short term and Fundamental Analysis i really lack experience of , but i believe to be the most valuable in times of market overall instability.

I used to code EAs for MT, But still it was very hard to come up with a stable strategy ... There are many tools that help you carry out those types of analysis. What i look for is a stable percentage return over investment long term. As i know it is in some ways reachable to invest short term. What i mean is over a period of constant change in the market and rapid osculations. Any entry would be better based on a knowledge of the currencies in question ... As i am more invested in technical analysis I find it a bit hard to enter without a basis. So if possible a few opinions on which direction should I start and if it is a good time to invest time for a stable strategy.

Long term charts and fundamentals. If you are short term/technicals you are playing into the hand of the market makers. As long as you know they are smarter than you and can see the same charts/technicals you see... and they can easily manipulate short term charts... trade safe.

If you do not need to chase super high results, and remain calm, then the option of long-term investment in haven currencies, taking into account the fundamental factors, will be the best choice. If you want to test your hand in the medium term, then the current volatility in some currencies will provide a great chance to make more pips using technical analysis.
