vinforex7 The idea, I'm not speaking for Aussi, for many successful traders trading demo into connected live accounts is protection: Why? Because connected accounts, via something like Pecunia's Synergy or another trade copier, have different settings for take profit, risk %, lot size, etc. This allows a trader to be human every once in a while or fall asleep or get distracted or, God forbid, die, and the live accounts will not lose more than the allotted risk %.
It also allows for trading ea's in the same live accounts while trading manually via this set up.

And, it allows one to spread their funds across several brokers in case of bankruptcy or server outages.

Also, it hides the actual size of trades on the copier should one use the stats from a main account and accidentally forget to block out lot size. And, rumor has it, in the US, if a demo account is shown, there's less risk from the regulators, etc.

Ced74, the concept is to control by fear. Just do what you do normally at home, wash your hands before touching food, after preparing/before you eat food, and generally keep things cleaner than usual. Clorox wipe (alcohol) or spill some wine on a paper towel (just kidding, don't do this) and clean your keyboard, mouse, door handles, etc daily.

We use a paper towel to bring in the mail and let it set for 14 days before opening it. Same with packages/wine. And then we wipe it and all of our food down or wash fruits/veggies with soap and water. It's a hassle, but has worked so far.

Also, we stay away from smaller enclosed public spaces like small barbershops, places where there are a lot of people where we might need to walk through where they just breathed or sneezed. We're outside a lot and really don't have any reason to go anyplace enclosed. We order groceries on-line and pick them up at the curb so we're not inside the store. Saves time to pick up curbside so we use that time at home cleaning the groceries with clorox wipes and letting it dry before taking it in the house.

And, the MOST IMPORTANT thing, call your doctor as soon as you feel any flu like symptoms or chills come on. They will likely do a video call with you to confirm you are sick. DO NOT WAIT FOR A POSITIVE TEST RESULT BEFORE ASKING FOR MEDS! It takes a few days for the stuff to build up in your body that triggers a positive test result so many people who end up in the hospital tested negative on their first test. Don't wait for a test and don't wait for test results.

Does someone with stage one cancer wait until it tests as stage four before they start treatment? um, NO!

So, why is government so stupid and doing that with the virus?

Right now there are two known treatments.
treatment 1 is the reason why New York City is only recording 1-4 or even zero deaths each day for the last several weeks. It isn't masks and it isn't social distancing, it's treating right away through the family dr/general practitioner. This is what has kept tens of thousands, if not hundreds of thousands out of the hospitals and kept people from dying:

Start treatment right away. Don't wait for a test and don't wait for test results. The sooner treatment is started the less likely hospitalization will be needed.

Treatment 1:
If memory serves, Australia is using the malaria drug with zinc and zpak because Tom Hanks took it while there.
Have your family doctor verify the protocol (yes, they have access to it), but here's what the dr put out as the protocol:
hydroxychloroquine 200 mg 2x a day for 5 days
azithromycin (zpak) 500 mg 1x a day 5 days
zinc sulfate 220mg 1x a day for 5 days
10% have side affects of nausea, vomiting and/or diarrhea - these are not life threatening. Tom Hanks, the actor, and his wife were given this treatment while in Australia. He did great, no problems. She was mad at him because she was one of the 10%, but it's better than dying.

Treatment 2:
budesonide 0.5mg nebulizer starting two times daily and moving to three times daily if needed.
clarithromycin (Biaxin) 500mg tab twice daily for ten days.
Zinc 50mg tab twice daily.
and aspirin 81mg tab daily.

We were told to provide this information to our family doctor/general practitioner as soon as we received it so they could research and verify the treatments and could have a good understanding of them before they might be needed. It also allows them to see if there would be any issues with underlying conditions.

We have the treatment on the pantry shelf so buying it before it's needed is always a faster way through all of this and allows for peace of mind if you can get away with doing it. it was especially important for us since our state governor tried to outlaw it last week. He's such an idiot...and supposedly conservative? Why anyone would not allow an individual to choose a treatment that keeps them from going to the hospital and dying is beyond me. I'm pretty sure he will outlaw it within a couple weeks. Sad that our life and death have become political!

if they are not treating cases then ask them who is and keep calling doctors until you find one treating virus cases with one of the two treatments known to be successful.

we know not to go to the emergency room/hospital because here in the states they won't give you the malaria drug with zinc and zpak...because they get paid $13,000 to admit you. If they make you sick enough to ventilate you they get $39,000. No one wants to go there and die because a hospital wants to make them sicker than they need to be so they can get paid!!! Government is stupid to pay a hospital bonuses like this. That's why car accidents are now blamed on covid here. crazy!

we're already taking zinc each day...it's over the counter. several countries even sell the malaria drug over the counter.

almost forgot, the politicians and doctors/nurses are taking the malaria drug as a preventative so they don't get sick. That is also working!

tested mt5 demo tonight as we're programming my mt4 indicators over to mt5.

my trading was fine for this little test, but the indicator needs a little work to get a bug or two out.

This is not a real account, just demo so I went in obviously over leveraged for fun. Seems this broker maxes out at 200 trades open at once time.

edit: seems if i'd let that trade run to my third target (marked by the white line to the left of the chart) that demo account would have doubled. Fun!

Ced74, another thing that's been advised...don't take the first vaccine should you decide to take one at all. They have lowered the bar on the vaccines to "if it will work for just half of people it will be a good vaccine." I'm sure not taking a needle every 30 days and don't even want to do one once a year. We have no idea if a vaccine will even work with the 200+ mutations and the last time they tried to make a vaccine for something with HIV in it...they never got one and went with expensive meds instead. What? Big pharma decided to sell meds every month instead of perfecting a vaccine?

But, in the meantime, just trade and keep your head down.

And clorox wipe (or whatever 60%+ alcohol wipes you have available there in Aussieland. those wine boxes and bottles! then wash your hands and let them set untouched for 14+ days. I know it will be tough to not touch it for that long, but you can do it! Just make more pips and do two orders next time so you can always have an order available to drink after its 14 day quarantine.
