yep mate the forex brokers making a killing , however the premise of the 5% is about losing mate i would like to see the breakdown of the losers and how long they are profitable

Three of the top six on that list offer trade copier systems. (I didn't research past the top 6.) So that may be the difference as to why their winning account % is higher for a given month than others...successful traders are being copied.
Yes, it would be interesting to see how many traders are successful month after month also. Consistency of a system is hard to come by, but the stats should be encouraging to those who think only 5% of traders make money. The bottom line is there can be more suffering, err, I mean success, than the ea, indicator, and system sales people state in their sales pitch.

I think the sales people say that because they want traders to join their firms promising that they will make more money with them.
I'm in the 23% group on the chart but only with a 40% win ratio

I read a year back that the joke amougst Brokers was their most profitable retail traders on their books were often traders that had DIED.
As it can take months, even a year before their relatives find / close the accounts, the fact they didn't touch their open trades enabled the profits to grow more than traders who were still BREATHING

but if you posted that strategy here on FF in the systems thread.....

it wouldn't be too long before a few punters would be asking if it could be made into an EA.

I would call that extortion since brokers are exploiting the relatives of traders who might need the money. Of course the best thing for brokers is that the trader had running losing trades so the account would be closed only when it reached zero. Shame on them.
