Bold move. Gold has been hot lately but if China ends up signing Phase 1 of the trade deal we could see some declines in gold. It might take more than that to break through the $1500 level though. Good luck!

Chinese PMI data absolutely rocked Gold and precious metals while the aussie dollar didn't budge at all. Light liquidity conditions. Be careful out there!

Gold and silver keep going. I'm finding it difficult to believe that it was the China PMI data when nothing else is moving.

December and early January always got erratic movement. Price can sweep back early Jan . That why I always light trade..record show I always lose these two period.
It's not good if you counter trend strategy..take note

Gold rallying on risk off related to Suleimani assassination. I think there's some serious upside potential as this creates some more uncertainty in an already unstable Middle East. Gold could have a big day here. Volume isn't close to where it should be on a news event like this. If you were bearish on gold, I hope you had/have stops in place. This could be just getting started.

Gold is close to 2nd target by now.

H1 target 1550.xx
Daily Target range 1577.xx 1594.xx on the cards.
Reversal potential: 1498.xx
