Here's my take on the XAUUSD market.

The XAUUSD market is presently in a ranging mood. Price action on the daily time frame is within a falling wedge (blue). Technicals are synced for a bearish mode but we may experience a retracement northward within the wedge based on the order flow patterns. This is more likely as price action is located at a horizontal support around 1456.52. Any significant breakdown of the wedge may embolden bears to drive price action southwards.

If you don't look back further than September, Gold is looking ridiculously bearish. Be careful out there it's approaching some pretty strong support at the $1450 level. I'd hold off on shorting until a breach, if it ever happens. Still some strong fundamentals supporting Gold prices.

The last time silver 10 daily implied volatility was this low was late May (when it was actually a bit lower). My calculations. Yours may differ. Just sayin'.

Morning Traders



New Day, new Possibilities,

As things stand, price has traded lower following the open but price seems to be back near the open and trying to rally higher, there is some divergence of sorts on the lower time frames but will need to see price challenge and break above the 1457 and stay above it on an hourly basis to validate a much more bullish outlook, across the board, our intr day charts are all bearish(H1, H4 and D1) as such we will wait and see how price reacts as and when it gets into the zones and also look at what London does when it opens

H1: Bearish and Sell Zone: 1455.50 - 1457.43
H4: Bearish and Sell Zone: 1460.02 - 1463.14
D1: Bearish and Sell Zone: 1468.93 - 1476.69
