Well situation improved much since the time of above post (cca 27h ago)... It almost went to the level I wanted it too... Still not fully there yet..
might be tomorrow or (by the mid of) next week... So it increased my confidence.. due to this quality parameter improving much...
So I am even more confident for XAU/USD going up, just after this correction gets through... Wonderfull opportunity for BUY.. since anything below 1500...
is almost a no-brainer buy for me... But just to be on the careful side... will wait for more optimal entry conditions, Just.in Case

even as the dollar has fallen, gold may devalue more than DXY.. Take Care.

Trump is talking to China tomorrow about the trade deal, so if anything is announced in a positive way -- that some kind of deal has been reached, the USD will skyrocket, especially against gold. So we could possibly hit 1450 or below. On the other hand, if no deal, gold could skyrocket.

No news on this drop. I think it's related to some resistance in the CME front month at $1500. I'm very interested to see how gold moves when the SHFE opens in 15 minutes. With an empty calendar, that's what I see as why gold could take a direction. Here's the drop I mentioned. Nothing out there as far as news.

Here we go. It's above the $1500 level and it could be on its way up if it stays above which it looks like it will. I'm long. Risk reward is good here with tighter than usual stops below $1500 but letting profits run a little after it breaks.

A break through $1500 followed by a test and bounce off of the level would be a very bullish sign and also good for my long position. I'd probably add to it if it holds here.

Depending upon the succeeds level of the US CHINA deal PA will react I guess. Case 1 - Full deal- PA will go down till 1445 - Break the Daily TL (Blue) Case 2- A Partial deal- PA to 1483- Daily TL will be held. (Blue) Case 3- Fail- no retracement straight to 1600 over weekend. Considering the development arround the BREXIT and TRADE TALKS, I think the daily trend will break today. On Moday we will realize the breakout is valid or fake. I am expecting the 1476 range today.

Morning Traders,just a recap of what PA did yesterday, we enjoyed buying dips off of the H1 buy zone and got a series of buy setups.
The m15 200 ema handle also provided a couple of bounce and price went on to create a new head and shoulder pattern that managed to keep its shape and the Head of the pattern wasnt able to be broken, as such we reduced bullish outlook and waited for price to break and close below the m15 200 ema. The plan was to begin bying dips as soon as the m15 pattern reached its target at 1492 and then buy dips with the first target towards 1500 and 1503 in extension, we waited for the H1 sell zone to cross over and come within range, it has done so now. The daily close below 1500 mark but above the 1485 handle still keeps bulls in play....without a daily close below 1485 we remain range bound.....

H1 :Bearish: Sell Zone 1496 - 1499.16
H4 : Neutral to Bullish.
D1: Neutral to Bullish.

My yesterday's short was closed with some profit taken @1505.
As 1498 is broken, I am gonna buy here with SL 1492 & TP 1507.
H4 has been in range 1490 - 1510
