I've bought from @1499.69... to close to FED speeches for my liking... , anyhow I got lucky.
There was a lot of Confluence, M15, H1, H4 200 Ema, Daily pivot, 50% Fib retrace from previous impulse.

Nice man, I concur with the UP Yeah, FED speeches are making anyone nervous, that's why there is a STALL again... I mean, I hope market wont be like this for the whole 3 weeks...

Anyway... US did appear to lose some strength.. now regained it back a little.. would like for it to lose it some more... or in other words.. eurusd to go to like 1.1040...
so it can drop to 1.1000 till the end of the month... at which time we might have an epic HALLOWEEN party tnx to FED (although it my be HALLO_WEED for them - judging from the stoned decision they will be making, I suspect... CUTING the... )... It will really be the (trend) CROSSOVER day maybe for markets.. EXCEPT for GOLD that might go UP regardless If there is something I do not see any lack of.. is uncertainty and (major) countries piling up gold... And just check the gold vs population, just to name a few... BRICS+T going crazy for it... just to name a few... All other things are temp down... I see nothing but BRIGHT future for gold Some things are just TIMELESS....

If you zoom out daily time frame, it's been consolidating in range 1480 to 1520 since 9th of September i.e. one month

Any breakout above 1535 or below 1458 will define further direction
P.S. Trade with the discipline of Money Management and Risk Management.

actually this one worked great, DXY is/was stuck at resistance, I'm not sure I'm right about this, but I look at DXY and it give me more/less confidence with the trade I'm about to open on Gold.
But basically, this was triggered by MzansiObi H1 buy zone, I just watch the pre-cited confluences as a great guide.

Xau / eur... xau / aud maybe down.. I go wait more to sell Xau/ usd
Take care with breakouts ... they always occur, at the top mostly to catch stop loss ... S&P will probably go up, and with dxy falling I don't know how gold will look.

Morning Traders

As things stand Price is back above 1500 mark on a closing basis and testing the neckline area of the inside pattern thats formed on the H4 chart, the right shoulder is in place and will need a breakout above 1510 will further validate this setup and bring back the H4 bulls into the picture more clearly,
The inability to break and close above the 1510 handle resistance on an hourly basis has been the core reason as to why the zones have been rather flat and neutral(H4 and D1) keeping us below the weekly open, showing that we are currently trading in a range, and the H1 zone seems to clear up once the bias of the day gets going....with that said, buying near the range ceiling with caution and banking in some profits is preferred up until London session opens and then we look to follow their intra day directional bias....For now,

H1: Bullish and Buy: Buy Zone: 1501.1 - 503.44
H4: Neutral to bullish: Buy Zone:1499.16 - 1500.87
D1: Neutral.

Alternately In my view , A break and close on 4 hour candle above 1509-1510 open way for 1518 then 1534 to 1548 and so on
