I tend to agree with this outlook but for now it looks like Gold is settling into this tight trading range. I see a break to the upside as the more likely scenario. I hope so because I'm long gold.

Here's some confirmation that we are in a risk-sentiment trading environment. The gold/yen correlation is pretty high right now.

If the yen is any indication, gold might be headed lower.

Does anyone on this group use or know of a good scalping EA for XAUUSD? I am using EA's on other pairs but struggling to find a good one for XAUUSD.

You may use horizontal support and resistance levels on h4 along with moving averages 50, 150 & 200

Several long positions at 1501.50 - buying on dips. Have another buy limit order at 1497.47. Waiting for all this middle east uncertainty to push up those prices. SL se. at 1493.
If in doubt, paddle out!

TBH USD gained too much today.. but yeah, due to saudi, uncertainty... was kinda expected... I would bet on it to lose some power... to push eurusd up for like 80-90pips by the end of the week... and then continue with slow decline... till the end of... (won't repeat)...

But on a positive note, I am somewhat glad gold didn't exploded too much up, so I can still have some time to buy it in physical form, planning for quite some time now... Sure moved up, but gladly less that I expected, at least for this reason...

For others, seems to be just a win-win buy at anytime almost For holding.. Trading is somewhat different, specially with (leveraged) selling in play...

So that would be my bets for the week... USD fall (a little)... also depends what the Jokers at FED will be doing/saying on WED...
Gold, hm.. hard to say for the/this week, but anyway, for the next week(s)... UP

I mean it is rather scary something to happen over weekend(s) and messing everything... That is why I prefer to have my positions closed on Friday... and that is why some also demand this.. if you trade others people money...
Can you afford to take that chance?

I have seen many such incidences in my trading experience, I dont keep any open positions on the weekend and dont trade on Monday. For some reasons , in past one year all major incidences and tweets happened on Saturday or Sunday tampering all tech analysis...

As expected US didnt escalate the issue so far. I dont think Fed will do anything with weekend!!

As things stand,
H1 bullish to neutral
h4 still in Sell zone:1503.11 - 1499.89
D1 Still in Buy Zone.


Outlook remains the same, so long as 1514 stays intact selling H4 rallies remains an option.
Buying Dips near the D1 support zone also remains an option so long as D1 support at 1485 supports price.
All in all will look at the usual, what is London doing, where is price relative to H1,H4 and D1 zones and intra day levels.

These are the key levels to look at . I am still looking for the gap to close at M15 precision (1489.17) after that upon reversal signs I will start trading long.
