That trade/s had a huge drawdown, how would you survive with this? Isn't better to reverse pyramiding when you are averaging?

so what if had a draw-down i only held a few hours

what matters is the profit in my bank

and no it isnt better for me to reverse pyramiding i do not trade that way i have a trade plan

MY MONEY WAS GUARANTEED IT WAS NO RISK TRADING
i was following the candle down to close the gap later which it did

i have a large account

With such a trade volume, check if your broker will give you rebates!!! I'm getting that from mine partly due to the high volume cause of the trailing stop method I use and reenter should I get stopped out....

I've been following your thread for a while now, however haven't posted before.

I can only watch in admiration at your results,.

I appreciate this is a 'journal' thread and not for Trading Systems, but and further insight into the way you pick your entries would be truly appreciated.

Unfortunately after several years trading I am still struggling to make consistent profits.

I have a strategy which uses averaging, but it works only once per week in certain pairs only and it has also big drawdown, but my problem is that I don't make much using it, because I use reverse pyramiding, maybe I can do the same with you (lower my lots when in negative) it is 100% but I am not confident that it is going to last. Sorry, if I have offended you, just learning and getting tips from the best.

you have not offended me mate you are always welcome i was just pointing out why the trades were good trades , it always makes me narky when people talk about drawdown but i get over it quickly

hi mate do not know much on how you trade so a couple of questions for you,how many charts do you have with pairs , how many pairs do trade . which pairs are a constant loss or around 50% which time frames do you use
