Dear pundit78, I can't help notice the Daily R2 pivot rejection(s).

I just thought I would mention that the small gap from Monday still remains unfilled. Looking for potential sells to the target area on my image below + gap fill, but will trade accordingly to what price does. Monthly for gold is up 9.5% with ~2.2% for the week.

That's where the risk is MrPresident. I think Bullard's dovish statements were by design and possibly a preview of what we about to see from Powell. Don't quote me though! Good luck guys!

Wow! Since Bullard spoke it's already gone to 67.7 vs 32.3, and keeps going. I don't think the market reflects that yet. We'd see gold lower, usd higher. I think market might be waiting for Powell.

This will tell us a lot about whether gold will continue its trend too.

A bull market is only a bull market if the asset can withstand negative one-off news on fundamentals. If gold prices come back to 1430 levels by tomorrow morning I will be stronger in my LT bullish conviction. If not I will have to start considering a neutral stance.

Somehow steady market.... with some ups and a little more downs... I thought there will be biggger move (in either direction) resulting from the Powell's (FED) speech today... But I much prefer it to be like this. I still think we are in a stronger USD by the day (slowly) through the summer (the next 3 months)... We will see if that was correct in retrospect, in the fall... I hope we all make a lot of money out of this (if correct). Stronger USD is the only NEGATIVE component of the GOLD (trend) as far as I'm concerned, for the next 3 months at least.
Can you afford to take that chance?

Believe is down trend now(base on small 1H time frame). However have to monitoring the trend again.
