sentiment is a fickle thing, and its worth keeping an eye on what the herd is thinking

the goldbugs have gone silent recently... this implies that the second half of the year may be bullish!

i had positioned last tuesday @1225 aiming 1206, before it was stopped out by sudden hike from 1214 to 1225 by just 3 candle 1H..

now where the b@$t@rd that make the price sudden hike happen.. why not try to do it again today...

Thats where the problem lies. All the amateurs and novices try to predict when the trade will end and try to pick the bottom or tops of the market, they then get there nuts kicked in and wonder how.

The XAUUSD market has been largely ambivalent for a few weeks. Just check the nature of the candlesticks printed on the daily time frame, they are somewhat on both directions even though there is a slight disposition towards bears. But there is little to choose in terms of sustainable directional bias.
