Is the actual Gold price pattern similar to the one of 1992 to 1998 ?

Not particularly IMO. Especially Dec 15 low and Sept 8th high.

Silver reached 16.15 today. There may be a further move to the downside towards 15.70 - 15.60.

Silver reached 16.05 and the move to the downside will likely continue. It may break out below 16.00.

looks like gold has finished 5 waves in
30MIN chart.

if goes down again and didn't break the previous low. then long it and target the above consolidation area.

Price target if the actual price pattern is finished.

there appears to be a realignment happening now... if it stacks up, it would suggest that the bearish impulse would be over for the time being (tactically) and the next impulse would be bullish...

it should take a couple of days to set up, for now, i dont expect to see yesterdays lows taken out; if they are, then theres more to go.

Here (again) the Long Term cycle(s) of Gold.

The Bull market of Commodities lasts 10 years, the Bear market 20 years.
The 681 $-level indicates the end of wave "iv" of the prior uptrend.

The Big Money "arranged" rallies at the end of each calendar year since 2013 (see last 3 years). Why not this year too?

the line in the sand for this week (closing basis) is last weeks low (edit).

personally i dont think the time has arrived for a full breakdown (yet), but we'll see

Silver bounced off from 16.00 yet again, the consolidation continues and I opened a long position.

Boom time

for DXY, this channel appears to be mission critical in determining the direction of XAU

note the reaction off this line last night after the FOMC announcement to hold on rates; it tested and reversed hard

while the move does look a bit stretched (it is bumping into numerous resistance levels), and a reversal would be nice before continuation, i would not get in front of this thing (XAU bullish) without a confirmed downside break...

with today and tomorrow being important data releases (this whole week actually), it may be prudent to wait and watch

on XAU we have a higher low on M60 as of now (since monday), but it doesn't mean squat without a confirmation on DX

I think it is good idea to sell below 1302

DXY follows Treasuries. They are the ones to watch and today, at least so far, 10 and 30 year are going up/rates down. So Dollar down and Gold up.
