depending on follow through momentum, we may hit ~1333 today. this is a confluence zone: 127% retrace of the previous swing + 233EMA on M240 + trend line support.
ideally this ought to coincide with a follow through on the dxy to achieve 90.46 and close around there for the week...
if these things come to pass, the bullish xau case will start to unwind, and after a decent retracement next week, we will the the possibility of breaking through the 1333 level on xau which will trigger a setup for a weekly push down to the 1306 region. ftr, we are starting to see an unwind in long positions across other commodities as well, and this would serve as a confirmation signal; ignore the inflation nonsense that old wall is spouting, a strong dollar = deflationary.
i mentioned earlier this week that price action felt like capitulation, and last night was the first leg... but now we need follow through
failure to follow through can have dire consequences for the bears!
