The 1315.xx trade last time was a pull back trade it was just a cover against the true direction PA for the coming day. I had already had trade at 1326.xx running. The trade i took that day was 1321.xx sell to 1309.xx which i walk the forum through which pay out was much better than that 1315.xx buy. And within the (Mid Term direction) The day ahead had already signal Bearish so buying that day was a higher risk. Which is exactly what happen. This buy set up is bit different for yesterday Bulls left 1326.xx off the table unpaid currently we still have Bearish expectation for the day ahead with 1299.xx target, but intraday flip is at 1312.xx and the week open is around the corner. So if Asia and London take charge of 1312.xx and US join them before FOMC then we attack 1326.xx from there we might have a sell off or we roll higher so this buy has a greater expectation than that last buy. However 1307.x break will continue the attack of 1293.xx plus today open trigger 3 month (Long Term Bearish) with first target 1221.xx plus it's Wednesday overnight rate is expensive so a very interesting day ahead.

Our first hour opening over 1312.xx, plus it's on the top of 4hr moving my stops to BE

I am off to bed until London.

We at 1317.xx now MID TERM Moving stops to plus+3 (My initial risk) will watch for US open and 1312.xx

Hi All,

I am having position for shorting XAU/USD at 1309. Seems like the momentum is going up. Taking losses now. I do see that the trend is a bearish trend but i read lots of people saying that there will be new high. I wonder what will be the outcome of FOMC affecting XAU/USD trend? Any gurus here would like to contribute their views/advice for me?

If I were you I will keep it till see Us market direction.

I'm somewhat neutral to the move from the FOMC news.. but going by history of rate rises we see gold rally on the announcement of a rate increase 4 out of the last 5 increases.. in the past 2years.

I will look to see how the price action plays out to determine whether I long or short.. but I would be more comfortable with a long on silver (not touching gold) based on the gold:silver ratio and the fact a move in silver could almost double the performance of gold in the short term (% of relative price)...

We fix over 1317.xx now. But no hour close over 1321.xx as yet. So trailing my profit for now at 1318.xx onwards until FOMC. We have Bullish intraday Risk 1309.xx target 1333.xx my calculator was a bit slow in calculating this. So lets see how the FED swing us later from here.

I hope no one thinks i waited on the Fix for entry now. I call it live once again. I will look a sell at 1333.xx if we spike there going into FOMC today which should be my last trade for the day. And possible for the week.
