Gold has been taking a beating for many days already....wonder if there's any upside to this....

So from what I see gold should go up tomorrow during FOMC. They are pushing it down now, so they can load more buys. Probably than bitcoin will go down and gold up.
My broker already sent me this message:
Dear Trader,

Please note that Cryptocurrency CFDs are temporarily placed into ‘Close Only’ mode, which means that opening new positions is disabled until further notice.
Open positions will not be affected by this measure, but pending orders (Buy Stop, Sell Stop, Buy Limit, Sell Limit) will not be executed until the normal trading mode is turned back.
The reason for this restriction is related to our internal risk management decision.

So for me this is a sign that something will be happening with the cryptos and this should be good for gold.

Silver has formed a spinning top at 15.63. That does not necessarily mean a reversal, but there will likely be a sideways consolidation around that level.

If XAUUSD (GOLD) breaks the weekly 200 SMA (around current location) southward, you may expect bears to target the next significant support around the 1211.70 area.

Although I'm not an Elliot wave trader, looking at both the D1 and H1 time frames, it is obvious that price action on XAUUSD (GOLD) is riding a third wave southward. So, we may likely see a further bearish move before a correction.

I may be wrong. Trade safe and prosper.

Gold shall be 1237 or lower a bit at 1119
even we can make profit if it hit 1229

from my view, 1248 - 1251 are in good place for reload short

I am still having 1.0 lot each for long from 1295 and 1274
while i have another hedge short at 2.0 lot with 1259 and 1.5 lot for 1246

if the market turn up, i will close my 2.0 lot
if the market still going down, i will cover my floating loss

REMEMBER this pricing... if it break 1231. 39 in D1, we shall see 1138
thats my view for my trading plan and positions.

Gold is still in a beartrend on the Daily tf as well as on H1 and H4, so bullish signal may not be soon

It happened for the past 2 years consecutively. That's why DXY is at it's current level now. US economy no good, that's why have to cut tax.

I have a small long at 1238 SL 1230, no target yet. Maybe another $100 or more. 1375 would be good if can travel there.

perfect setup...not sure sl work or not but belive you will get that target.
below 1239 1231 is the support but sometimes markets shake smtms brokers.
