I opened long with initial TP of 1290, but I don't know if I will keep it for long. Will see how it goes from here, hopefully I will not need to hedge

I see gold in upward channel on my H4 chart. Right now its oversold (h1) and close to the bottom. Even if it should continue down I think it will make a leg up first.

1276 is the 61.8% retracement of october low (1263)

USD strength, Bitcoin @ $8000+ again. There seems to be an increasing correlation between bitcoin and gold.

Price reacted to the marked zone below its likely to move up to 1290. Let price and time decide.
Goldgirl and all the pros in the building what is your observation? Meanwhile this action is on 1H time frame I preferred this kind of action to be on 4H TF, but like my goldgirl will say "Nothing is impossible"

The spinning top on the one-hour time-frame is a signal for indecision, it does not necessarily mean that there will be a reversal. Gold still seems quite bearish.

Bounce sure. But all the way back to 1290 why?

The reason is because of the bouncing nature of this shinning metal for almost a month now. Its likely to move up to the upper channel, but if it doesn't I have my trailing stop in place. Not only that, I am also looking keenly into any funny price action b4 my TP.

Well from what I am seeing with Gold futures volume is greater on the down moves than up moves lately (5 days or so) and after a "normal" retracement I expect new lows beyond today's LOD.
