First, China. A couple things. China's data isn't exactly audited, so they may report numbers that paint a rosier picture than what's actually going on. A more important factor is the Chinese government's plan to use monetary easing and stimulus measures to combat any slowing growth. Since China uses most of the world's copper, I'm not taking any short positions while China keeps stating stimulus is coming.

DislikedHi, I am new to the thread and Copper trading. I havent traded copper though it sounds always interesting to me. I have some general understanding not sure its technically valid or not. Dislikedtush1822, you also need to research on supply as well when talking about commodities. Supply of all commodities has been increasing with good tech to mine same if for copper. Kindly find attached International Copper Study Group (ICSG) Factbook for details on supply and demand. Supply deficit or surplus has a huge impact on prices. {image}Ignored
