I'm in.

All things considered, copper is looking very bearish near-term.

That said, there's a fundamental case for a triple bottom soon. If China inks a trade deal with the US, or can prove it can grow without one, that would be very bullish for copper. Plus, Zambia is in the process of nationalizing some of their copper mines. They're a big copper exporter so the potential exists for an upcoming supply disruption.

China's Caixin Manufacturing PMI is on deck. Sunday data tends to have lesser impact. I'll probably stay out, but I'll be watching in case of a weak report. If copper starts to sell, I want to be ready.

This one is interesting. The impact has recently diminished as China's slowdown concerns have taken a backseat to US-China trade wars. However, the forecast is right at 50.0. A number below 50 would signal a contraction. Depending on how big a miss, there's some risk to the downside for copper. A better than expected number may have to be a lot better than 50.0 forecast for a rally.

A break below current levels doesn't have much support. Daily chart:

Interesting and IMO a bold prediction. Before copper's drop in May, it went sideways for two months during March and April. Prior to that, it started the year off pretty bullish. Right now, copper is a little lower than at the start of 2019. Lots of uncertainty, especially with the US-China trade chaos, China slowdown fears, and concerns about the US economy possibly showing signs of a possible recession. Check out the latest yields via the US Treasury. It looks like the inversion is getting slightly more obvious:

I'm out of any copper positions right now because global demand seems like it could be weakening. On the other hand, if we see some aggressive stimulus from the Chinese government, copper could have some near-term upside. Good luck sir! I'll be watching copper from the sidelines for now.

I think your data haven't nothing with trading.
Look, the same data, but different price on the chart. First image can help for manufacturers or other investors, and second for traders. Yes, it's same Copper, but for make money on trading can help just second image.

You made an excellent call Aleksbuk. I'm still going to be a spectator because there's too many factors at play. I may give copper another look later in the week. We'll see. Until then, I'll just keep up with your trade calls. Let's see if you can keep your streak alive! You've been calling it pretty nicely. The market is expecting the ECB to lay out the details of the LTRO 3. While the general thinking is that the terms for this LTRO will be tighter, I've read that they might revise the growth outlook higher. Nothing would surprise me when it comes to the good ole ECB. If they revise growth projections upward, copper could certainly benefit and see further upside potential. Like I said, I'm not sure so take all that with a grain of salt.

Again, impressive call. At the end of a dismal month you were pretty confident in a move higher. Are you sure you don't have a DeLorean?

Thanks for starting this thread Aleksbuk. I have traded gold for awhile but have been wanting to get into copper on the side. I think if I keep up with this thread I will be ready to move from copper demo to live trades.

In many ways, I think copper may be the best metal to trade. It's more of a pure growth play than the other metals.
