hey... don't get misguided with some negative posts, they don't steal your money.......they are good broker....they pay your profits...this i can say from experiance....long back (around 3 to 4 years back) there was some problem in platform now all ok... and spread is best on FXCMMicro..

Fxcm will not be the biggest broker out there if they steal their clients money. They are the biggest for good reasons.

As FXCM do index's Nas100 and FTSE100 I think will do, anyone know where I can get a Meta4 that will let me chart these or something else for FREE being key ??

Going to try Medved, does it need a Index Broker to stream the quotes though ??

And FXCM and it's no history crap charts are no use to any bugger

Thanks, sadly not much charts well on M1, but the DJI and Gold do so dumping USDCHF from my charts and replacing with GOLD, time to play with the big boys.

I've been using FXCM for about 2 years now, I did not find any problem with thier platform. During news there is slippage but thats understandable, and if you read all the forums most people discourage trading during news, no wonder why. Trailing Stops do not work in FXCM now and using OCO is irritating. I never used MetaTrader platform, and want to try that with FXCM. I appreciate guidlines from any body how has experience doing that.

Trailing stops seem to be working tonight, just started messing with them, like the 0.1 pip of them, market moves 6pips in my direction and max loss is reduced by 6pips, sounds ideal to me, better than the 10pip min.

BUT...... If your using the double click method and you've got Trail ticked in there well it's ignored you've got to go to the Stop - Advanced then click it on, which is annoying, hopefully they'll fix soon ish.

I'd like a 50% mode to, market moves up 50pips, SL moves up 25pips for instance reduced my risk and loosens the rails same time.

Could move to MT4 ofcourse and likely code such a automatic SL EA maybe.

I suspect there playing the, your order is closed instantly but we'll keep it on the screen and IF we get a worse price available then you'll sell at that price and keep the pips, if not you'll get the worse price of where you exited game, gets them a few extra pips in there bank hey!! And yes I do seem to exit at the worst price in this case.

But it's only a few pips so not overly fussed, ruin 3pip scalpers though ofcourse.

$3 per pip MAX here, wouldn't of thought it worth it for them.

thats small size , i tried their micro account , i was thinking to fund it to scalp with them but many reviews here stops me also their software is sluggish u know what i mean

You can trade via Meta 4 these days, I'm not a Meta trading fan though there system is easier for me, less confusing is key Meta 3 demoing I had all sorts of madness going on.

I like the Double Click trading with instant SL.

If they made the last digit on Gold a Decimal like the last digit on Forex pairs I'd be happier, 10SL rather than 100SL especially as it's the same thing

no meta not for scalping , i cant scalp with it , i want one click , fast , instant ...

FXCM does 1 click, prefer Double click personally safer with cats around and stuff

I'm not a full on Scalper so even when it's 3 - 5 second delaying a exit it's still generally fine for me, except for filling at the worst price to me over that time but hey.

yeah i know they do 1 click but it is not fast , i made a test , i opened FXCM beside Oanda , i clicked at fxcm then i click quickly at oanda , the oanda trade get filled first ! , i like Oanda but the problem is their spreads at news ...

FXCM's spreads only widen for 10seconds straight after news so fine for me and when the market is really slow.

Never looked at Oanda been with FXCM for AGES!!
