wrong about dollar and copper - just trend continuation. es on the other hand does look like it is heading in the right way.

copper could still be on but it would be a hail mary to confirm the setup.

long building on gold and es short are the easy to spot setups for Prelim UoM Consumer Sentiment in 20min.

XAUUSD price action on the H4 time frame went sideways in the latter part of Friday after a bullish retest of the 2332.28 horizontal resistance. Although we may still see a northward charge towards an area of value, the technical impulse is bearish.

I may be wrong. Trade safe and prosper.

looks like gold is trying to make a run at 2440 ish. there is a setup where it might retrace but that would only make the move north more powerful (so not likely imo).

Juneteenth here so likely not much running today.
yes - that's why order flow is poor indicator this week. i'm always behind the curve.

closed my long for the moment and cheeky short currently but will reverse on the dime. next 30m or so will tell me where its going for the rest of the day.

right now it looks like a retracement on d1 is required for moving higher. as mentioned above.

edit - yes volume is disappearing. so will close shortly.

Gold bullish on the daily/weekly now, looks like its time for DXY to surrender its gains.

Data today and tomorrow should tank the $ careful holding shorts guys!
I don't see either ($DXY or XAUUSD) as being particularly bullish ATM.

Of course it will change at some point soon enough.

XAGUSD OTOH is bullish, some maybe it might pull Gold along for a ride.
