So I'm looking for playing the forex. Question is do I use a forex broker, or a spread betting firm? Which is going to be safer. I searched for a low spread company, and this worldspreads apparantly offers a 1pip spreading between the EURUSD between 8am and 4pm UK time with £1 per point minimum stake. Looks good to me, but I've seen no talk of them on here. Makes me weary.
Although they only offer limited currencies to trade on (so it appears) they do appear to be regulated by our FSA (finanical services authority) and from what I've read about bucket shops and other forex brokers, the regulation side has been a bit of a grey area. Therefore going with a spread betting firm (especially from the country i live in) would be a safer bet for protecting my money no?
