    Estimates for payrolled employees in the UK fell by 93,000 (0.3%) between August 2024 and August 2025 but increased by 10,000 (0.0%) between July 2025 and August 2025. When looking at June to August 2025, the period comparable with our Labour Force Survey (LFS) estimates, payrolled employees fell by 115,000 (0.4%) over the year, and by 31,000 (0.1%) over the quarter. The early estimate of payrolled employees for September 2025 decreased by 100,000 (0.3%) on the year, and by 10,000 (0.0%) on the month, to 30.3 million. Umm, whether APPROXIMATELY 8,133.460000000000000 tons (metric tons?) or not, as I see other smaller figures stated frequently, I suspect you're keeping your focus only to 'claimed', publicly-quoted figures of gold bullion/bars held by states.

Quite what your comment has to do with the UK Labour Market Overview, I don't know.

As an aside, sovereign states apparently hold about 25% of the all the gold ever mined. In the form of jewellery, the Indian population hold about 25k metric tons. In that context, how does your final sentence stack up?
