Spain: Flash estimate of the Consumer Price Index (CPI): August 2025
The estimated annual inflation of the CPI in August 2025 is 2.7%, according to the flash indicator prepared by the NSI. This indicator provides a preview of the CPI which, if confirmed, would mean that the annual rate remains stable, since in July this variation was 2.7%. This behaviour shows the upward influence of fuel prices, which are falling less than in August 2024. On the other hand, food and non-alcoholic beverages are having a downward effect, with prices falling more than last year, as is electricity, which is rising less sharply than in August last year.
