There are 2 versions of this report released about two weeks apart - Flash and Final. The Flash release, which the source first reported in Mar 2011, is the earliest and thus tends to have the most impact. The Final is not reported for lack of significance;

Spain's annual inflation stood at 2.2% in August, the country's National Statistics Office (INE) said in its preliminary report on Friday. The figure was up from July's figure of 2.8% and came in lower than expected.
