The real inflation is all of the months and years percentages added up together since 2020 when the outrageous inflation numbers began. There’s never deflation so it all keeps adding up as a whole.

Anything over 0% MoM is up on the US CPI headline, a blind one-legged economist could forecast up

For some reason the Fed isn't ready to destroy the USD, just yet. This is where Trump came in handy with tariff story. My guess is because the digital system isn't quite ready yet. When it becomes ready, the Fed will hammer the last nails in the USD coffin by cutting rates and QE of likes we have never seen before.

My anecdote. I ordered 12 of something in April 2024 and paid $360USD. Same thing in June of 2025 costs $940. It is steel. So the only reason is tariffs. I'm small time. Anyone claiming tariffs won't have an impact is blind to real and has no clue of markets.
