So the core inflation number is still 5.3% which is way too high, there is a good chance FED will hike once more given what's happening, that's why we can see the market reacting the way it is. Still not good enough and still nowhere near the 2% target they want.

Yes I understand that rate direction depends on incoming data. My point is that pausing rate hike does not necessarily mean that the currency will weaken, especially in the medium and long term. What if analysts see rate hiking at certain point as a disincentive to economic growth?

It has been long time that all the expert keep talking about the USD will be come good its back then cooling price , which is not even happening last one year. After all USD dont give a shi***at all, its just keep going up and all the crazy investors jut put their all the money to the AI stock, which is doesnt make sense at all to me . If we see the COT data its literally show us the institution and banks are just so opposite side of the current market. All I can say that keep your chine up and dont so gung-ho about what is happening now in the market . Market real new sentiment is still up in the air.
