I just do not understand why someone from Germany would trade with Oanda. There are so many DMA/ECN options available to you. You can chose any UK regulated broker, in my opinion, the best in the world. I feel the US broker options are so untrustworthy, I feel 1000 times better trading with an unregulated offshore broker. That says alot for US brokers. It's not even the lower leverage, no hedging or FIFO. I simply want a true DMA/ECN option and my money guaranteed if broker goes bankrupt. Is it really too much to ask? The fact this cannot and will not be done is further proof the regulations are not there to protect the trader but to drive spot FX out of the US.

Hello everybody, Now with fxTrade you can use advance chart with trading view.

anyone know how to save my analysis in this advanced chart? Sometimes the platform save my level, my trendline etc...... sometimes not save. and it's so busy start again alltime....please help me

FX Trade disconnected again, last week that happend 2 days in a roll. And right now again, 30 min I can't trade, I can't close an open trade and I will get a loss at that trade, i missed 2 trades.

I don't know what are you doing over there, and what is the issue, and I don't care, fix it

Me too. I tried the Oanda web account login as well. It claims maintenance...
If you have lost positions due to this, ask the refund from the customer service. Last time it happened I got back the money.

I´m not able to logon either, since 40 minutes, funny, cause I´m scalping profitably....In the moment I would move my stop to BE on a short position on EURUSD,, and I´m very close to my Take Profit...but I can do nothing!!!!

That is bs, platform is connected, price below my SL, and my position is still open.

Last week 30 min disconnections, and this week again.

Oanda start doing your job and provide service as you suppose to!!!!!

Just take a screenshot, and write an email to the Customer service explaining the problem.
I am sure they would sort it out.
Looks like there was a glitch with fxtrade in general. My Metatrader subaccount was getting the accurate price information during the last hour.

I will ask for refund, they gave me money back last time. But what about trades which I missed, who is gonna give me that money. I am really disappointing with Oanda service !!!!

Yeah, I argued that I would have exited one trade profitably using my system rather than losing it last time, so they compensated it. You can argue that you would have entered there (if there wouldn't have been a glitch) and see how it goes...

(I am still happy that this problem is not occurring to just my account.)

Hi guys. I've just noticed that 200 EMA on fx trade and 200 EMA on mobile trade is different - how come?
10 ema, 35 sma, 50 ema are same in both but 200 EMA on my mobile at the moment on EJ is 113.93 while on fx trade it's 114.01 - how can you trade when indicators don't work properly somewhere?
On my way to financial independence - if others can do it - I can do it

What timeframe are you using them on? It's probably due to the amount of candles loaded on the screen.
I assume you know how EMA's work since you're using them.

EMA value varies on the total amount of your data.
For example, if one has 1000 bars, the other has 500 bars, you will observe difference.

Do anyone know that if I can open a legacy account at Oanda ? The new v20 API seems haven't been fully developed. And when I open a demo account, it directly is a v20 account. Is the v20 the only option for now?

Same here, on a real account. Ask the customer service if it's still possible to do it.

I've changed my live account to v20 hedging last Thursday. So far no issues. Maybe it's java. Btw I keep windows 7 on my pc, heard that windows 10 still have some issues.

I have asked the custumer service since he is the only broker that provide a python API.
