Disliked{quote} I agree. Just like the many so called 'Traders' that are convinced of their own genius?Ignored
Disliked{quote} I know they have MT4, but I happen to like fxTrade. It would be a really good platform if they just could fix the crash problems. Especially since OANDA likes to tell everyone that they are not just a broker, but also a fin tech company. It's a bit embarrasing that they haven't fixed some bugs in their mobile app for over a year now.Ignored
DislikedHave you seen the Friday news SPIKE on EURUSD ?114 pips, add spread increase, and we are in the 150 pip zone.
That must have wiped out billions from retailers trading anything below a monthly chart...with a "safe stop". Big Boys take it all again..
I will stay on my profitable 5 min. system, far away from news... On news times, go for a swim, Europe is hot these days...

DislikedJust got an email from OANDA that 100:1 leverage is now available (previously, the max. was 50:1). I don't know if this applies to all divisions ex-USA, I only know about the European division. Also, there wasn't the option to change leverage yourself when I checked a few minutes ago. Lady from customer support told me we have to write to frontdesk(at)oanda.com and request it.Ignored
DislikedThis is about the stupidest response I have gotten from a Spot FX Broker in a decade. Yesterday I requested through the funds request area within the logged in account portal a check to be mailed to me from Oanda. Here is the response I got via email nearly 24 hours later: Your request has been denied. We regret to inform you that we are currently experiencing technical difficulties with our check outsourcing service with our banking partner. As a result, we have cancelled your check withdrawal request. Now if this were a real case you would think...Ignored
DislikedI had truly thought this matter was settled.Still no check from Oanda, it's been just about 2 weeks now. The informal communication with the NFA seemingly is ineffective. Is it time for a on record complaint? Oanda plainly told me Yes, we will mail you a check so I responded with that specific request directly back to them. They are also aware the request check function under account funds section is not a viable action though they have not modified their account login area to reflect anything is wrong. Now they are playing games. Anyone...
