China stock market just lost 30% of its value, basically means China market just reduce in size by 30%

China brought the most Gold, now its leaking money... guess what its going to sell to fill in the 30% void left by stock market?

That's what I was thinking as well as gold prices declined. However, I have longs open from 1160 which I ride out till at least 1175 given bad U.S. unemployment claims today and possible FED delay in raising rates.

Took loss and closed by longs as no traction. Of course, it could spike up today, but likely Yellen's words are intended to sooth nervous markets, and even situation in Greece appears headed to some sort of resolution, however temporary.

For sellers, there are better regions to short. Just like previous upwards trendline broken, it retest the trendline and act as resistance for a 60+ dollar drop. 2nd better R/R region to short is at 2nd green region where it test top trendline of downside channel. So if it push upwards and turn bullish due to some macro events, at least the loss is small. Present price action look more bias to bull at short term.

Yup thats the channel! Start selling in 1160s region... It's awkward for me to admit but seems like the new trading range would be 1080s-1160s. Dollar is expected to strengthen as the rate hike is coming in focus as Greece drama is near conclusion and Chinese markets stabilising. Big sign is that even after all these hardships the masses stood away from Gold as safe haven. I was under an impression gold would see new mid-term highs around $1300 or above.

Also... Iran deal negotiations happening from the past 20 days or so, it looks like they will extend the talks further as if they really want to close the deal. So Oil would slide to 40s or below IMO... I would start selling from $53 or so

u misunderstood the referendum, the idea is that even a 'NO' vote would not cause Greece to leave euro.

since Germany give a 3 day dateline for Greece to decide to stay and take a slightly worse deal(still abit better than the original package) or leave euro for 6 months(?), Greece have no chance to say "NO"...

Yup, Euro is now officially controlled by Germany. Germany can decide who stay in Euro...a more disturbing idea than Greece leaving Euro if u ask me

Bro, I think you misunderstood me. I see 1180-1190 as a better resistance block for sellers.

The previous good R/R shorts are after the price broke the ascending trendline and retest it. Forming a new resistance and a new bearish channel at approx 1200. Presently it may drop, but risk wise, first test of top channel lines are better place for short.

As FED keep flirting with rate hike, Gold seems to lose any strength pushing up. I really wonder will they hike the rate.
