Still waiting for funds to be returned, looks like the company fx pro use for wire transfers have lost it LOL , how it can't be traced or tracked these days is a mystery, at least I can still get funds from account through mastercard...

Seems like the shit is about to hit the fan at fxpro, they sure having some funny problems down there. I suspect they did not tell the truth as to how the SNB event really affected them. We'll im lucky I got kicked out!

FxPro 1 Minute chart on Friday at market close. Last M1 candle on EURAUD was 40 pips on cTrader. Nowhere on planet Earth those prices even came up. Stop loss hunting for overnight bets ?

Closest range I could find was XM with a 20pip candle.

All observations on real servers. See SS attached.

Since there's no requotes on cTrader, you can say bye to your money on that 40pip stop loss hunt.Who has a 40 pip SL on last minute overnight hedge bet ? Nobody. And they know it because they have access to your stop losses. BOOM!

You're correct. Here is comparison to forex.com chart (I have live account with them). Do these spikes also happen during normal trading hours with FXPro?

One thing I notice is that these spikes happened in last 2 minutes. Forex.com stopped at 58 minutes while FXPro stopped at 59 minutes. Chart from FxDaily stopped at 57 minutes, so don't show any spikes as shown below. Now the question is why do some brokers stop trading before other brokers at weekend close?

For me is looks like Forex.com or XM scammed you and not FxPro.
Because on FxPro you maybe stopped out at 23:59 ...
and on Forex.com or XM you stopped with a Gap on Monday Open with a larger loss.

Most of the brokers have been warning not to hold any eur crosses over the weekend due to the volitility with the Greek crisis, they also warned of increased spreads and margin requirements

Let's see what the book has to say about this 80 pip volatility in 2 minutes seen nowhere else but at their shop. I can only imagine how many SL's they hit on both ways on Friday night. And the no-requote policy on cTrader. Free money basically.

some reviews on tradecomplaint, most from 2014 so quite recent.

Just reporting back on this. Ever since I've been using fixed spread, I haven't had any issues with being stopped out like that as I had on ECN, and I'm quite happy with it.

For anyone who is getting stopped out due to widening spreads, you guys should check out FxPro's fixed spread as a possible option.

The only downside is that I have to use the MT4 platform - which is a huge step down from cTrader.

Dear Traders,

Friday closing was another high risk event in EURO crosses with the probability of a weekend gap due to the critical situation concerning Greece. This abnormal market condition led to FxPro keeping their clients informed not only prior to market close on Friday, but also during the course of events which had been unfolding over the past couple of weeks , about the possible risks whilst recommending they keep their exposure on open EUR pairs over the weekend at levels which were suitable to their risk preference in preparation for the possible materialisation of the aforementioned risks.

On Friday, FxPro kept quoting all platforms until the last seconds of trading. When it comes to the cTrader STP platform, the spreads are not restrained in any way as they reflect the market risk appetite and current trading conditions at the time. As we experienced before in similar circumstances, the banks appetite during last minutes of Friday tends to be very minimal; in the case of exotic pairs and crosses like EURAUD even less so.

Why? Simply because it is much harder for the liquidity provider to pass this risk onto another counterparty they deal with. So the trading in the last minutes of Friday (commonly referred to as High Risk Closings) comes with the above priced-in. Increases in spreads are not meant to run stops, but rather notify market participants that liquidity providers have a diminished appetite during these times.

So they also made big money. now i use ctrader ecn. but their ctrader android app is dead wood. It is always freezing. so i did complain backoffice@fxpro and live chat everyday and post forum site. I have a ctrader account with Fxpro. Almost nothing wrong with the platform, excerpt some lagging moment ( but still better than mt4 ). I have made some profits but haven't withdraw anytime yet. Some people in this thread complain about withdraw problems that made me feel worry. I know time to transfer to my bank can be 5 days or more but extending to few months is unacceptable. I wish this will not happen with me.
