Both gold and EUR pushing higher. As I stated previously, it's likely will see gold push towards 1200, before returning to earth. I will add short at 1179 and 1188 if it makes it that high.

Opening shorts around Monday tops would make sense to me...... with expiry ahead, I'm very hopeful of nice fall next week..

You might be right about 1200, but this will be at or near market top. USD will resume march and the Fed will raise rates-gently and slowly-come hell or high water.

As visible in TE, I hedged my shorts in that circle.. it was a bottom out.. I could see a price-shoot coming.. was not prepared for longs..

Thus, reduced my loss..

Last week when I said I shall put my hedging skills on display, I did not know I would be hedging my positions in red.. heck.. such is life here in Forex..

Those watching my TE, please be informed, that it is a contest account.. they will wipe all positions, whether green or red after the closing ahead..

I'm gonna call it a day..

My advise to new traders:

 

  1. Trade light and safe.. (low leverage, use OANDA 1:10 )
  2. Be open to accept your defeat.. it hurts.. but pays in the long run
  3. Learn and make slides of your mistakes, revise them daily..
  4. Learn fast and play easy, there is always another day..

Nice bat swing...trend-line seems to have been broken so I expect a long-term bullish movement for several days to come.

Yeah, probably Clock should just share with us on how to analyse using VVSA rather than just telling us it is bottom/top suddenly. I bet most traders here have no idea what do you mean by bottom/top out without a chart to illustrate it. You can still keep your signals for those to pay you.
Different people have different interpretation even if they learn how to use your VVSA. I think it is good to attract more subscribers if you can explain more about VVSA in details.
