Yea agree with you. Chinese had similiar cultures as Indian. We buy Gold jewellery for different occasion, but maybe not for my generation and younger ones. Anyway I hope Gold drop, as i need to buy some for my sister's new born baby as gift. But for physical Gold bars, i doubt i have the ability to spare cash for it for other reasons other than making money. Last year, I even have intention to clear my position in equities to get a feel of owning 1 when my stock were stalling, but luckily I didnt. As my equities rise up more now, I would have lose out if I sold it.Hopefully soon, I can put a few bars on my table or bed.

Still no longs here, waiting for Yellen to speak before chancing a long, but we can't head down after her speech, i could load up longs for 1300

Gold up, Eurusd up, usdjpy up...something is not good today, sounds like a messy day even though Dollar should strenghten

10 am, yellen's testimony only move Gold market.

Technically, short term, the down side target is already met, no more levels.

On the upside 1240/50 still remains.

However, after yellen's speech, 1190 can be broken too.

Trading plan for today : Buy after break of 1211 or sell after break of 1190.
Intraday only.

I have not done any fancy analysis mate.

I'm just looking at Eurusd and usdjpy chart. Daily/weekly/monthly still shows dollars bulls.

And so far i can't see an opportunity to long euro or short usdjpy

But Gold seems to act on his own, I can't see a proper trend
