it looks pretty bearish, is it taking the path for 1170-1160 ?

Indeed. A low risk trade for me though. PA may very well dip to 1188 first, but think the market is ranging now and we could see spike. My overall bias however, is still short and if FED does not surprise with any news or change of direction like the SNB, there is a possibility we will see new lows later this year.

I would like to try a long in the 118x area with SL $5 away.. (if we get there) only IF I can locate my favorite patterns based on key timings..

S1 at 1197.5 make a good support and bullish DV on H1 is noted ,small buy at 1198.5 with SL at 1195 ,however

Been viewing this thread quite a long time, but this is my first post.
Please be careful if you think it might be a bull trap. I not saying it not a bull trap, but please consider what i found on my analysis if you plan on short.
I think gold is changing its direction for now because of 3 reason:
1) Bounce on the 38.2 Fibs level of Daily
2) Divergence on H4 Chart
3) Previous resistance is now become a support on H4 chart.
If its happen to close above 1208 on H4, then its give me more confident on my analysis because we have a hammer on H4 also.
Anyway, just my opinion....
