Holding a SHORT deal at 1289 with deal size of 0.03 and T/p given at 1280. After reading all the user reviews posted in past 4-6hrs, just came to conclusion that this pair will see a price between 1285 to 1270 if its a bearish trend and if there is Resistance at 1336.

Is my understanding correct? any suggestions??

Not really as this can go either way very hard. if i were you i'd reverse that trade at the 1st oportunity because with all the manipulation fed does all the time one could expect news from wednesday to friday to send dollar down bringing gold back up before expected...
I do believe however that gold will come down to the 1280 mark today after 3 or tomorrow (if we don't see agravations on the wars)..
If this doesnt happen i would swap the "sell" for a "buy"

spot gold has resistance 1312, hold above then 1320-1328 possible & has support 1300, hold below then 1292-1282 possible

Actually this deal was taken on 24th of this month when there is a huge drop. I just read bro and was asking some experts if my understanding is correct or not. By the way thanks a lot for your valuable advice.

Ya thanks. Infact i was making my decesion on what to do if things go against me. that is the reason i am asking expertise views on the point "to what extent this will go higher or lower". I expected that if things go wrong, this pair will jump to 1330 Max. just wanted to conclude if my analysis is correct. I can hold this deal till a maximum value of 1360. Yes, i am also waiting for this pair to swing either ways. but nothing is really happening today. Probably its holiday na, that is the reason no big changes.

Moved my TP at 1301 out of fundamental concerns, but i might change my mind again though, those pending homes sales worry me a bit since they already have very low forecast and if they come out in red it will move the market to the upside in the short term

Pending home sales is not big news, the news like this come several times each month. My concern only really big news like NFP, which is now day has later effect after bernanke.
