golds move last weeks and mounts, was technical and used geopolitical news... inflation helps gold for demand, but future of inflation is undecided or not clear because of monetary politics which is manual and proaktiv managed... gold demand and supply normal however...
in the chart, the size of red triangels can change some...

I hedged earlier as well, I was wrong, the good part, I had not hedged 100% but only like a small part.On top of this, I have been buying contracts, no hedging there as its kinda complicated from an investor's point of view. Been trying hedging only in Forex.

When its time, I shall take profit from contracts (part or full) instead of hedging.

I got 4 hedged positions (shorts) @ 1300, lets see if I can get rid of these, that may take a month or two.

Should I see it as the same as when a war takes place?

But if a country is hit by a typhoon, it seems to me that it will lower the demand for gold in that country/region. Why will that not lower the price?
