Agree with you, I think we can use RSI for overbought and oversell purpose as an additional filter ..

Hi My Friend,
Price Type = 0 - Close,
1 - Open,
2 - High,
3 - Low,
4 - Median ( (High + Low) /2),
5 - Typical ( (High + Low + Close)/3),
6 - Weighted ( (High+Low+Close+Close)/4)

Calc Type = 0 - Momentum Oscillator
1 - Stochastic Oscillator - Real Relative version ( no 0 to 100 overbought / oversold limit)
2 - RSI Oscillator - Real Relative version ( no 0 to 100 overbought / oversold limit)
3 - CCI Oscillator
4 - MACD Oscillator

The Up and Down Fractal sign calculated with the fastest fractal form of 3 candles not as usual fractal of 5 candles.

Do you know that with the new language, you can now use a drop down menu for the user to select the price type, ma method, etc ... (ie. ENUM_APPLIED_PRICE). In the index of the MQL4 reference, write "input" ... you will see what I am talking about.

Hi My Friend, I share this indicator for free, so that mean you can use it freely.. and if you need some explanation about 'her' I'll try to explain as far as i can because of my limited knowledge..

to open new thread, enter the specific forum like this Trading System sub forum look at top right corner, you will see 'plus' sign and 'create new thread' text, just click it and fill in your new thread name..etc.

Its good setup, One pip high low doesn't matter in Double to or Double Bottom

Thanks Rose, im getting the hang of it. Ill put some hours into testing over the weekend, but just to put it out there, solid testing takes months also cos im working on a few strategies.. no more news.. enjoy the weekend y'all

My Friend Rozeweb, please forgive me, and please allow me to explain little bit about divergence, maybe some of our friends here need basic explanation about that..

as we know, divergences is very subjective and relative matter depend on your oscillators choices, your oscillator setting, and also your TF selections if you use time base chart or your brick/bar size if you use price base chart.

Divergences result is always right, but not any divergence result is tradeable, especially in LTF (low TF), so you should be careful if you follow divergence signs in LTF.

When you set your oscillator parameters, you must understand your choice and use your logic so it make sense, for example my divergence indicator default setting is MACD with median price (L+H/2) for daily chart, with fast Ema 5 period (5 days or 1 week period), and slow Ema 21 period (21 days, this is average month trading days). and 3 period of signal line (for 3 days average trend wave).

With this setting, if you put it in daily chart, the MACD oscillator line, will show you the comparison between EMA 5 and EMA 21, you can try to put EMA 5 and EMA 21 into your main chart, and you will 'see' that when MACD oscillator line cross '0' level, at that moment EMA 5 also 'cross' EMA 21.

You can create your own setting more logically when you put 'her' in lower time frame, let say if you use 5 minutes chart, next what do you want to compare ? maybe M15 and H1, that mean you set fast EMA as 3 (5 minutes x 3) and your slow EMA as 12, and set signal line also as 3 period.

If you use standard MACD, that mean you use close price, so if you set fast EMA as 1 period, that mean you will compare the close price of every candle with your choice of slow EMA. it is similar with you put your slow EMA in M5 line chart.

Kiads You are the man Thank you so much for explaining in easy way. I already told you that thread has no restrictions, anyone can share his point of view.

I was little confused about MACD settings because people were curious about fast EMA " 1 " I just explain them these settings works well with 5 Min TF only but I was unable to explain logic behind this. You explain deeply and logically , Now I can understand the real logic behind MACD . I hope many people will take benefits from your explanation. Please contribute your more knowledge so we will learn more. Thank You
