My strategy is not to sell and catch a breakout, I've mentioned it once or twice (i think) that I will never trade a breakout, I trade based on S/R and fibo using MACD,RSI and pin bar analysis (to a lesser extent).

Scalped some shorts when Toyko opened, and still in a few shorts (from 1288, with SL at 1313). Looks like Ukraine is still influencing market.

Watching H4 closely, if we bounce down from the kijun (blue line) we may begin our downwards run again. You can see a tk twist ( to the right where cloud goes from red to blue) indicating we are in an up trend currently but beginning signs of a bear trend. So for the moment I am waiting a stronger signal before going short.

1 lot short placed @ 1303.44. maybe just a scalp at this stage as the H4 looks to be doing a double tk twist to the bull. Expecting a run down to the 1301.

If gold closes above $1295 by the end of NY session... we could see price move up this week... also considering that ukraine issue...things are not likely going to settle by may 25th; and if anything they will get worse - which should give Gold momentum towards the upside!

But that's not quite correct because I never buy panic, panickers usually are punished - they are meat and fuel for trend, you can check the latest panic (ukraine-crimea related) spikes - they were drowned in blood. I buy BEFORE panic. When it's panic it's too late to buy.
One of the patterns I was waiting for and talking about - happened just before/on the today's Australian session opening. That was not panic, that was usual low-liquidity market manipulation.
