This is some choppy price action, hopefully the pmi numbers at 945 est will change this....

Indeed it should... but gold just seems to have gulped the news down, whereas all other pairs are reacting (look at EURUSD) for instance! The shooting star on 4hr chart looks dangerous. If Gold does not rise today; it is headed down to 1262 - 1250 level!

my opinion:
if we stay (next hours or minutes) above 1284,5 (maybe 1283.4x) then we must test again 1300/1330

Busy and jumping all around today..4 active orders on different instruments. 1277 as Gold's TP1 for me.

new home sale was not good. if dow pullsnback and Russia starts again gold breaks 1308 then 1340 tgt.

Looking like price making a path, 1290's coming up! First we clear 1285 then 1288, 1290 then maybe back to 1300...again. PS, guys dont trade GOLD right now. Oil is moar betta

I take back my last post. It cant be moving 2 dollars only in 2 days. So i think it will be break by today. And i totally agree with rtm. Dont trade first. We have no idea whether bull or bear. Just wait. Better play gbpjpy or gbpusd. More fun.
