You're right. Most action takes place during London/New York overlap.

Yellen's words are pure double speak. She knows that the Fed will raise interest rates in 2015 (she has been walking back from the truth she blurted out last month), but needs to mask it in Orwellian language so the markets don't freak.

I got in the trade at 1307 as my sell limit was hit...Moved my stop to break even... Lets see though; the market should go down; i thought yellen might move it up but apparently this has not happened at all...

The ukraine situation is going to fizzle out as russia is complying with western requests.. they have no interest in other parts of ukraine...
The rebels will eventually stop as they realize russia will not do anything for them...but even if the rebels persist this will become a civil war for ukraine which will have little impact on the global front... hence Gold should fall!

Good for you mate! I set an exact sell limit at 1307, my broker's chart went up to 1307.03 but my limit didn't get filled...so I'm holding a relatively small short from earlier position...
what you said is very true, as the ukraine situation eases, gold will head down following the technicals...
