It will change say your 4h charts into 8h candles best to talk to your broker they will explain in more detail Cheers

As far as I know you cant get live 8h charts in Mt4 you need to use period converter and these would be offline cheers

Open 1M chart, go to Navigator --> Scripts --> Run the script PeriodConverter, in the input you need to type 480 and click OK.

Go to File --> Open Offline --> Choose the chart you convert with 8H and Open.

* you must leave the 1Min chart open all the time so the 8H chart will be update, once you close the MT4 you need to do this process again.

Hey Clock Trader. I just noticed that many posts from this thread including some of yours have ended up on the recycle bin. How did that happen? Afterall, I didn't see anything offensive in any of those posts at all.
Luck has no place in trading. Leave that for the poker table.
