im waiting for 1376 resistance to see if it breaks or it has a correction downside, long term gold target are new highs.
tons of currency QE dont go unnoticed.

What do you think? Based on the different timeframes 15,30,1h,4h looks like everything is overbought, do you think there is going to be a major pullback before hitting the 1380 target?

It may keep climbing and may continue to look overbought. There is no method available which would say overbuying should cease now.

I too use hedging strategy as well, at the moment waiting on the market movement to see what the next course of action, but looking at the past sell downs average about a couple of days and also looking at the H1 chart each burst of gold price there was around 400 to 500 pips of consolidation from the high. If there was going to be one I would expect the level to fall back to 1370, before moving back up. Just a theory.

hindsight is a beautiful thing. $50 is 500 pips not 5000 pips on my platform.

A good trader should be able to foresee trends like this in advance. Once a trend gets exposed, its chances of carrying on begin to get slimmer demanding a dip / correction.

I am going to be very cautious with my cravings for going long from next week. Secondly, a nice top may be reached by NY morning, but, I can't see a vertical shoot during US session. PA ahead would correct me if I'm wrong.

Whether any one of you is long or short, I suggest trade safe, trade light, if you have capital, there would always be another day here, otherwise not.

PS: Glad to say I was able to mitigate losses from shorts today.

76.4 FIB on the daily has been breached. If we break through this then my next resistance sits at 1384.xx

Just looking for buying opportunities now on any decent pullbacks.
