I am watching for a stop hunt by the big money guys. Gold prices could shoot over 1315 before coming back to current levels.

I had a nice long op, went long, I did not see a short op, just hedged the longs anyways. I'll call it a day now.

OK, Yellen's testimony. Market may perceive that there will be a pause to tapering, so could push prices above 1300 to 1330-1335 levels. I am adding shorts.

Agreed. All my previous longs now completed.

Rebuilding longs now targeting 1300-1313.

I doubt it, bonds sold off pretty hard today. Could be the China stockpiling rumour thats supporting gold today, either way price action continues to look bullish, I can't see myself selling this unless it breaks 1260.

I firmly believe sometimes technical analysis is doing something which no one is expecting. Not being a part of bulls now. A nice low risk high profit chart of gold. a short position it is now.

Always expect the unexpected. Right now, the assumption is that gold will now move above 1300 due to technical reasons. However, the fundamentals that took gold to 1180 on the way to 1,000, are still with us. Moreover, the technicals appear to show gold peaking on the daily chart and a retrace to 1235-1250 a more likely scenario.

Guess what? A clear day to try shorts. My Clock says, Wear shorts today, quite sunny out there & that's where my inclination today is. I doubt it'll go above even 1295, let alone 1300

Bingooooo Day ahead!

PS: I'll carefully watch other signals if there is any reversal on intraday level. Right now, I'm hard bent towards shorts.
PPS: Looks like, it was a wise decision to hedge my longs yesterday.

My technical analysis is saying that we have now finally had a daily close above 1280 (long awaited). There will be pullbacks without a doubt but now we are into the next phase. I believe the major reversal will happen around 1360 (if and when it gets there).

My approach to the gold market now is just to keep loading up on the pullbacks and maybe even short some retracements if I see a good enough opportunity to.

1280 is my major support line now on the daily close. Depending how much it gets tested (or not) on the 4HR will determine my comfort level for my analysis.

All my longs that I built and closed since beginning of Jan are now completed. Rebuilding the stack from today.

Similar... Tp shown, but not concrete. I think there's legs up, but we'll see.

Yeah I am long and my bias is long also however I have opened a short for today TP 1281.

Silver has barely budged and is trading with less volatility than normal. Looks like traders are waiting for ECB's Draghi before making larger trades. After the BOE, it is likely that Draghi will just repeat what he said in the past. However, if he says the EU is improving, then gold and silver price action could spike before going lower.
