I hear issue, the indonesian goverment blocked acces oanda, so trader from indonesia can't trade with oanda.

OANDA MT4 not connecting after 3/feb update.
Anyone else had the same problem and got it fixed?

Is it a live or demo account?

I am asking because I have a live account and MT4 connects fine and there has been no update yet. I am still running on build 509.

I start trading natural gas/usd 10 day ago ; 2 days ago, unfortunately, I found out that the interest calculated for positions hold over a period of time, increased significantly.
here is an example:

for 650 unit. nat gas/usd the interest over night (for short position):
02.02.2014 - (-0.80 usd) ;

03.02.2014 - (- 1.53 usd);

04.02.2014 - (-5.62 usd);

can someone explain to me why this increase? Please help

Interest rates for commodities on oanda are all over the place, and they keep changing a lot. It has to do with the difference between the oanda spot price and the price of the futures contracts, on which oanda bases their cfd pricing. I dont think they have published details about how exactly they are calculated.

So, looks like Oanda is changing their business model and is acting like a bucket shop. They just screwed me by lowering their prices for USD/JPY so that it would hit my stop loss, where if I traded with anyone else this wouldn't have happened.

Anyhow, I contacted them with no avail. Oanda dug in it's heals and said the price was the price which to me is a huge issue since they are the ones that are setting the price to whatever the hell they feel like.

Any how, here is a link to my chart where you can see my stop loss and target which uses MARKET prices. But because OANDA uses whatever prices they feel they want to charge, charts like these are useless when trading with OANDA.

Stop Hunting? Are you crazy? Oanda does NOT stop hunt. Don't blame your losses on others.

i have just received an email from oanda asking me to fill up some IRS form regarding withholding tax.
not sure which form to use...so confusing.
