Well 1412 has now been tested - support now turned to resistance. Will it hold? 1415 is my red zone to get out of my short if we close above that.

Not liking the look of 1409 1HR chart showing support last 4 candles so far.

Yes, I added to my longs at 1,411. I had a feeling there would be some profit taking, but OK to be closer to the 1,400 zone as this provides an even better risk-reward ratio for a long trade with strong support at 1,400 and secondary support at 1,388.

I got lucky on this as I got out after the bounce. U.S. GDP news surprisingly good (is it real? or will it be revised downward?), so many traders could load shorts as the Fed will go forward with taper later this year.

1404 support now seems to be the one to break.

I have added a long here still looking at the 1440 as TP...

I think the present term bias is short, but think the key support of 1,400 might just hold...

The volume is likely very thin, so moves can be exaggerated. Nonetheless, there might be some consolidation in the wake of positive U.S. GDP figures and a scaled back "war" in Syria now that Britain is out (thankfully).

The real question is whether the longish trend is still intact? OR is the summer romance over?

It takes quite a while to learn to trade gold, and learning is ongoing; it is not easy to trade. Rather than lose all that is in the account, best get out. We are too close to 1390.

Well i've started to rebuild on my shorts. I don't think there will be "much" going on until Tuesday now anyway.

4HR candle just closed very weak on the bulls side.

I would close it now and practice in a demo account with low leverage for 6 months.
