Trailing profit was at 1235.200 which was hit couple of hours ago. it is now at 1238. am not sure if it is still good to enter the market.

Set a pending long order at 1235.100. Anybody expect it to come. it'll expire in 2 hours.

If I wanted to go long from current 1240, I would place the SL @ 1180 or 1150. I know any trader would not like SL far away, many would disagree, again.

gold seems like there is more downside action to go, will probable bottom out at around 800, this crazy run created alot of gold bagholders, bad deal,

Right now @ 1249, its running like a crazy bull, heck, once again, I again failed. Bad call, was expecting this to peak out. Hope some light when US session opens on Tue.

As you said, such an SL can be afforded only by seasoned trader. Not day trader. I'm happy I had pretty good profit. But Certainly missed much more if there is no turning back for god.

Its not about affordability, its about correct strategy. Even with a few grand account one could play long term. Apparently, the more honey in your bread the more sweeter it'll be. Having said that, I wish I can prove here that anyone can make decent money even with a very small amount by following seasons.

Also pissed I couldn't buy more. Fingers crossed, hope it falls & I get another chance to buy.

Falling below 20.35 – the first technical objective- alongside with the negative crossover of Tenkan-Sen and Kijun-Sen could assist bears to resume their southern trip.

Moreover, Chikou Span is still stable below the aforesaid resistance level reinforcing the bearish scenario softly targeting July 2010 levels at $17.30 per ounce, while the main technical objective of this study resides at the psychological level of 15.00.

Notes:

  1. Tenkan Sen (red line) represents the average of highest high and lowest low for the past nine periods) has crossed over negatively below Kijun Sen(blue line which is the base line and is derived by averaging the highest high and the lowest low for the past 26 periods) in the third week of January. This is the first bearish sign we can get from the indicator over medium term basis although gold is currently attacking it.

  1. Chikou Span (green line) is a lagging line that represents the last closing price plotted 26 periods behind) has also breached Tenkan and Kijun Sen in the second week of August 2012 and this is the second negative sign.

  1. Senkou Span (cloud) Contains two types of clouds; the first is the up Kumo which is calculated by averaging the Tenkan Sen and the Kijun Sen and plotted 26 periods ahead. The second is the down kumo and is determined by averaging the highest high and the lowest low for the past 52 periods and plotted 26 periods ahead. It has covered the price since the second week of February 2013 and this is the third bearish sign over weekly basis.

Just took two shorts @ 1256 SL @ 1281 against 9 longs whose SL is @ 1180, the longs are below & above 1200

I hope it falls within a day or so.

Well that's what the range is between 1263 and 1272 it will fall anyway.

Just keep your fingers crossed and don't close the short positions until you don't get to see 1120 on the screen
