But in Oanda, your deposit method and withdrawal method have to be same! Why man? whats your problem! I may want my friend to deposit funds for me and I may wish to withdraw via moneybookers (skrill)....I am looking for such a broker...

Concerning the history-issue:

It's also not possible to see "historical trades and orders". Mobile app is also not updating.

Yes, you will find...definitely... but this "broker" that allows deposits from 3rd parties and different method of withdrawals vs deposit will be a scam...100%. Just go ahead if you want to lose your money.

You are right to some extent...but I am also a freelancer and work through Odesk and withdraw my money via Moneybookers (skrill), the cheapest and safest method...If I do not have any International credit card (I do not really have) and there are some country that do not allow foreign currency (USD) to remit/deposit outside country for such ( Fx transaction) purpose, how they can deposit fund? Unfortunately Paypal is also absent in such a country I know! Good brokers should also think about making arrangements with Moneybookers (skrill) to get wide range of customers....

yesterday oanda hit my stop because of widen spread up to 18 pip on GBPUSD .. is it possible ? anyone has experience ?

i never seen this before a broker widen spread 18 pips and touched my stoploss ..mine was at 1 pm american time ..but the price was good with other brokers like MBtrading ..why oanda did it ? maybe its better to transfer to other broker .. this stop hunting made a lot of loss for me

At the sunday open and during high-impact news releases you should expect spread spikes up to 20 pips with Oanda. Its like that since forever.

I think you are one of the right person to ask this question:

Can I trade a small/micro lot at Oanda? Suppose I have opened an account with Oanda with $50.00! Can I make a trade that costs $20 to $30 (without leverage) so that I can still have $20 left in my account after that trade or something like this! If not possible than how much $ I need to make my first trade with $50.00 ?

Hi Everyone,

We are aware of this issue and are working to resolve it as soon as possible. Essentially, our ticket numbers were getting too large, so we reset them to start at a lower number. The fxTrade Practice platform is having issues pulling these smaller ticket numbers, so as a result, recent trades are not being shown in the Activity tab. Please note that this is only affecting the fxTrade Practice platform.

If you would like to see an accurate list of your trades, please go to Account and select Full Transaction History. Please select the “Old Transaction History” in the top right corner, and click on the Date heading to sort by date rather than ticket number.

We apologize for the inconvenience and thank you for your understanding.

You can trade whatever lot-size you want. If 100.000 is the standard lot, you can trade 10.000, 1.000, 100, 10, 1 or something like 4 or 57...

Hello everybody,

Hopefully it's right place to ask about trading with OANDA.I opened a short trade(gbpchf-h1) on MT4 demo account.
It's look like it should be positive profit,but it isn't(see attach).Did I miss something!Sorry if answer is obvious,I just started learning currency trading.

The pair you traded has a 4.9 pip spread, meaning the price has to go in your direction for this number of pips before it starts to go into the positive. As it appears on your chart, the price has not yet covered these pips.

Opening a new OANDA account, is it normal for them NOT to request identification? This seems a little shady to me...after asking about it I was told via live chat that my account is already approved, there's no need to send in ID

I have a question, can any of my friend fund my account at Oanda through his PayPal account? I agree to withdraw fund through his account (since I have seen that the deposit and withdrawal method have to be the same), no problem on that! Is it possible?

Not so since the dynamic spread implementation. News spreads are much more inline with the rest of the market.

Dynamic spreads are not good for intraday traders and also for scalpers because this will cause huge fluctuation sometimes which is not for the short term traders. what do you guys say?
