After trialling numerous M15/H1/H4 systems over the last nine months, I have settled on two systems to seriously demo on the Daily charts.
I work full-time, and these systems allow me to spend roughly 15 minutes each day at around 10pm UK time, when Alpari UK close the daily candles.
I have linked my two trade explorers to this, so those who are interested can keep tabs:
1. Courtney Smith's 'The Conqueror' System
2. The Turtle's Trading System
I intend to treat these as purely mechanical methodologies, and will not be adding excess indicators as I go. I have the same 17 pairs on each demo, and they are all Forex currencies (I know the Turtles were originally encouraged to diversify, but I don't have that luxury right now).
The Turtle demo has been active since 1st Oct, and the Conqueror since 8th Oct. My initial entries have been based on 0.01 lots only while setting up - my risk will be shifting to percentage based entries in the coming weeks.
I have attached four screenshots of good and bad trades, as this is supposed to be a fair representation of trend following with no bias.
I will update as often as I can and I hope other people can derive some value from this.
Regards
